ABSENTEE VOTE/VOTE BY MAIL

Tuesday, October 7—Tuesday, October 21, 2025

You can vote absentee in person at the Clerk’s Annex (1500 Lomas Blvd NW Suite A) from Tuesday, October 7 through Friday, October 17, Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm.

Request your absentee ballot online today! Ballots will be mailed starting October 7. You can return your completed ballot by mail (with the pre-paid envelope) or hand-deliver it to any early voting or Election Day polling site from October 7 through Election Day, November 4.

Absentee voting closes Tuesday, October 21—ballots will no longer be mailed after that date.

If you have an absentee ballot, you can track the status of your ballot here.  All completed absentee ballots must be received by 7pm on election day, November 4. If you still have your absentee ballot on November 1, we strongly encourage you to hand deliver your ballot to a Voting Convenience Center rather than mail it. Visit the County’s website for more information about Absentee Voting here.

EXPANDED EARLY VOTING

Saturday, October 18—Saturday, November 1

There are 20 Early Voting Convenience Centers in Bernalillo County. Early Voting centers are open from Monday through Saturday, 10am to 7pm AND on Election Day, 7am-7pm. All Early Voting Locations can be found here.


VOTER REGISTRATION/SAME DAY REGISTRATION

Same Day Registration (SDR) opens at all Early or Election Day voting locations. Please bring proper ID to update your voter registration or to register to vote. Bring a photo ID and a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, student identification card or other government document, including identification issued by an Indian nation, tribe or pueblo that shows your name and current address.
